Description

The MPT TIGMMA2005 gives you two welding processes in one machine, so you can choose the best method for each job without buying two welders.

TIG mode (10–200A): TIG (tungsten inert gas, or argon) welding produces clean, precise, good-looking welds with no spatter and no slag. It’s ideal for stainless steel, thin sheet metal, pipes, tubing and visible joints where appearance and precision matter. The argon regulator is included: attach it to your argon cylinder, set the gas flow and connect it to the brass gas inlet on the front panel. You don’t need to buy a regulator separately.

MMA / stick mode (10–160A): stick welding is fast, strong and forgiving. It works well outdoors, on rusty or painted metal, and on thicker steel for general fabrication, repairs, gates, grills, frames and structural work.

Inverter technology keeps the machine compact, light and energy-efficient compared with old transformer welders, while delivering a stable arc for smooth, consistent welds. A 60% rated duty cycle means it can weld for longer before it needs to cool down, which suits shop fabrication and maintenance work. A 61V max no-load voltage gives easy, reliable arc starts.
