Description

The MPT MLT5003 is a compact 500W laminate trimmer (palm router). It trims laminate and veneer edges, rounds over and chamfers edges, cuts small grooves and rebates, and does decorative edge profiling on wood, plywood, MDF, and particleboard. Its 100% copper-wire motor spins at 32,000 rpm, which gives clean, smooth cuts with very little tear-out. The trimmer comes with both 6 mm and ¼” collets, so it takes the two most common router bit shank sizes. The small body fits comfortably in one hand for precise control on edges and tight spots. A self-locking structure keeps your settings secure while you work. The carbon brushes are external, so you can replace them without opening the housing. It suits cabinet and furniture makers, modular kitchen installers, carpenters, and woodworking hobbyists.
