MPT Wood Chisel

Description

The MPT Wood Chisel (MHH02001) is a dependable woodworking chisel for carpenters, furniture makers, cabinetmakers, woodcarvers, and DIY users.

The blade is made from chrome vanadium (CR-V) steel and heat-treated for hardness and toughness, so it holds a sharp edge and resists chipping during regular use. The zinc-plated tang adds corrosion protection where the blade meets the handle.

The ABS+TPR dual-material handle combines a tough ABS core with a soft, non-slip TPR grip, so you get comfortable, precise control for hand paring. The black protective cap on the end of the handle absorbs hammer and mallet strikes, so you can drive the chisel for mortising and chopping without damaging the handle.

Choose your width:

• 6mm, 10mm, 12mm: fine detail, narrow mortises, dovetails, and carving
• 16mm, 19mm, 25mm: all-round sizes for hinge recesses, joints, and general paring
• 32mm, 38mm, 50mm: wide cuts, flattening, trimming tenons, and cleaning large surfaces
