Description
The MPT HD Magnetic Level Bar (MHE02005-40) is a tough, accurate 40cm level for professionals and serious DIY users. The body is made from aluminum alloy, which is light enough to carry all day but rigid enough to stay straight and true. A powder-coated finish in MPT red protects it from scratches, corrosion and job-site wear and keeps it easy to spot in a cluttered toolbox.
The strong magnetic milled base does two things. The milling gives a precisely flat contact surface, which makes readings more accurate. The magnets let the level stick firmly to steel beams, pipes, conduit, studs, machinery and metal frames, so you have both hands free to adjust, mark or fasten.
It has three clear bubble vials:
- 180° (horizontal): level shelves, cabinets, countertops, tiles, appliances and beams
- 90° (vertical): plumb posts, walls, door and window frames, columns and pipes
- 45° (diagonal): check braces, angled supports, stair rails, conduit bends and pipe runs
At 40cm (about 16″), it’s long enough to give accurate readings across shelves, frames and fixtures but compact enough to carry in a toolbox or bag. A hanging hole at the end makes storage easy, and the protective end caps absorb impact when the level is dropped.
