Description
The MPT Aluminium Caulking Gun (MHI02003) is a professional-grade sealing tool for contractors, glaziers and installers who need power, precision and durability. It’s built almost entirely from aluminium. The aluminium tube body and aluminium handle keep the gun lightweight and stop it rusting, while staying rigid enough to handle high pressure. The handle is powder-coated for a durable, comfortable grip.
The closed tube barrel is the main advantage over open-frame guns. It fully supports the material from all sides, which means it works with standard rigid cartridges and with soft foil “sausage” packs. Sausage packs are cheaper per milliliter, produce less waste and are widely used by professionals for PU sealants and adhesives. The tube also keeps the cartridge or pack aligned, so the flow stays steady.
Power comes from a shaft pusher driven by a high-ratio mechanism. It delivers up to 1500N of force, almost twice the force of a standard 800N gun:
- 12:1 thrust ratio (9″): strong leverage and control for everyday professional sealing
- 16:1 thrust ratio (15″): maximum leverage for the thickest adhesives and large-volume packs
A plastic nozzle is included for use with sausage packs. You can cut it to the bead size you need.
Choosing a size:
- 9″ (MHI02003-9): compact and easy to handle. Fits standard cartridges (approx. 310ml) and small sausage packs (approx. 400ml). Good for windows, doors, bathrooms and general installation.
- 15″ (MHI02003-15): larger capacity for 600ml sausage packs. You refill less often on big jobs such as façades, roofing, expansion joints, curtain walls and flooring.
