Description
The MPT Tape Measure (MHE01005B) is made for accurate, everyday measuring on job sites, in workshops and at home. The housing combines a new ABS+PVC rubber cover. The rigid ABS shell protects the internal spring and mechanism, and the PVC rubber over-mold absorbs impact when the tape is dropped. The rubber also gives a soft, non-slip grip that stays comfortable in sweaty or dusty conditions.
The blade has accurate metric (cm/mm) and British (inch/feet) scale markings. You can read both units at a glance without converting, which helps when you’re working from mixed plans, buying materials, or switching between local and imported specs.
Locking is handled by a manual lock switch with a triple brake system. Slide the lock and the blade holds firmly at your measurement, so it won’t creep back while you mark, cut or record. That keeps readings consistent, especially on long runs where the blade is fully extended.
