Description

The MPT Voltage Tester Screwdriver (MHN02001) gives you a quick, simple way to check for AC voltage between 100V and 500V before you start electrical work. It suits electricians, technicians, maintenance staff, and homeowners.

To use it, touch the slotted tip to a terminal, wire, or outlet slot while placing your finger on the metal end cap. If voltage is present, the neon lamp inside the transparent body lights up, so you can see at a glance whether a line is live.

The slotted tip also works as a small flathead screwdriver for switch plates, terminal screws, and light fixtures, so you carry one tool instead of two. The transparent body lets you see the indicator from any angle, and the metal pocket clip keeps it in your shirt pocket or tool pouch.

Use it for checking outlets and switches, identifying live and neutral wires, testing fuses and circuit breakers, and quick checks during electrical installation and maintenance.

Important: this test pen is a quick indicator only. Always switch off the power at the breaker before working on a circuit, and confirm with a proper voltage tester or multimeter. Don’t use it above 500V.
