The MPT Heavy-Duty Spirit Level (MHE02002) is built for professionals who need accurate readings every day on demanding job sites. The frame is made from aluminum alloy, which is strong and rigid and resists bending and twisting. It stays straight and true even with heavy use. A powder-coated finish protects it from scratches, corrosion, cement and mortar, and keeps it looking good for years.

What sets this level apart is its milled top and bottom surfaces. Both working edges are machined precisely flat, so you get an accurate reading whichever side is against the work. You can flip it to double-check a measurement or use either edge to scribe a straight line. Many basic levels are milled on one side only.

It measures three key angles:

• 180° (horizontal): level floors, slabs, countertops, beams, shelves and tile runs
• 90° (vertical): plumb walls, columns, posts, door jambs and window frames
• 45° (diagonal): check braces, rafters, stair stringers and angled supports

Two grip holes give a secure, comfortable hold when you’re carrying the level or pressing it against a wall, especially with gloves on. The butterfly hanging holes let you store it neatly on a hook or pegboard.

Choosing a length:

• 40cm (16″): compact. Good for shelves, cabinets, fixtures, appliances and small installations.
• 60cm (24″): an all-rounder for carpentry, tiling, electrical and plumbing work.
• 80cm (32″): good for doors, windows, wall frames and medium spans.
• 100cm (40″): best for masonry, framing, flooring and long-span leveling.
