Description
The MPT MJ07006 is a 6-piece set of M35 cobalt twist drill bits in the most-used metric sizes, from 2 mm to 8 mm. The bits are made from M35 high-speed steel with about 5% cobalt added. Cobalt helps the bit stay hard and keep its cutting edge at the high temperatures produced when drilling tough metals. That means it handles stainless steel (inox), alloy steel, cast iron, and hard sheet metal that quickly dull ordinary HSS bits, and it lasts longer and cuts cleaner. The set covers pilot holes, screw and rivet holes, and bolt clearance holes for fabrication, welding prep, aircon and electrical installs, cabinet hardware, and general repair work. The bits fit electric drills, cordless drills, and drill presses. The compact set is easy to keep in a toolbox or work bag, so the right size is close at hand.
