Description
The MPT 7″ External Circlip Pliers with 90° Bent Tips (MHB12004) remove and install external circlips (snap rings / retaining rings) on shafts, axles, and pins, especially in recessed or hard-to-reach spots. They suit mechanics, machinists, maintenance technicians, and DIY users.
They’re made from #45 carbon steel for strength and durability. The 90° bent tips reach rings at awkward angles and in tight spaces, and they let you work with the tool held at your side instead of straight over the part. Squeezing the handles opens the tips, expanding the ring so you can slide it off or onto the shaft and seat it in its groove with control. The hardened black tips grip the ring securely and resist slipping.
A built-in return spring brings the tips back automatically after each squeeze, so repeated work is faster and easier. The dipped comfort handles with red collars give a secure, non-slip grip.
